Before purchasing FlowJo online, you need to know the answers to the following two questions: What kind of license protection would you like to purchase? For maximum flexibility, we offer three different ways in which you may purchase FlowJo User Licenses. The three options are "Serial number", "Dongle", or "Site License". A Dongle is a small electronic
device that is attached to your computer. When it is attached, FlowJo
will be able to run on that computer. You can easily move dongles from
computer to computer; however, if you lose the dongle, you will have to
purchase a new one (at full price). Serial Numbers are based on the Hardware Address of your computer and allow FlowJo to run only on that computer. The advantages of a Serial Number license is that there is nothing physical to lose, i.e., no possible financial loss and if your computer needs to be repaired, we will be happy to provide you with a temporary serial number to run on another computer. The disadvantage to Serial Number licenses is that they are not easily transferred between different computers. Serial Number is the only way we sell the 1 year license. The one year license expires after one year. NOTE: FlowJo Version 4/6 uses a different USB dongle than Version 3 (instructions for exchange are found here. ADB dongles do not work with v4.
