What the heck is a dongle?
A dongle is a small security device that plugs into your computer. It acts like a mobile serial number for FlowJo, allowing users to run FlowJo on any number of computers (one at a time). Dongles are great because they work on Macs and PCs! Just plug in the dongle and fire up FlowJo!

About FlowJo dongle replacements:
- If a FlowJo dongle malfunctions due to its manufacturing, FlowJo replaces it without cost, and the faulty
dongle needs to be returned to a FlowJo employee/contractor.
- If a FlowJo dongle breaks due to rough handling, such as twisting it in the computer, dropping a laptop, hitting it
with a vacuum cleaner or foot, a new dongle will be sold to the researcher for $100.00 + shipping. The broken
dongle will need to be returned to FlowJo.
- If a dongle is missing, misplaced, gone, the lab will need to purchase a new one at the regular rates.*
- If a dongle is stolen and there is an official police report that documents the theft in the lab, car,
office, then a new dongle will be sold to the researcher for $100 + shipping. *
*We like to know which dongle is missing so that if the missing dongle is found, we can arrange to get it returned to the lab.
