You can learn a lot about FlowJo by running it in Demonstration Mode. In this mode, you have full access to all of FlowJo's features, but you can only input the demonstration data files supplied by Tree Star, Inc.

Once you are familiar with the interface and want to look at your own data, you are welcome to a FREE serial number, good for 30 days. Request an evaluation serial number.

For maximum flexibility, we offer three different ways in which you may purchase FlowJo User Licenses. The three options are "Serial number", "Dongle", or "Site License". Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the various options.

Serial Numbers are based on the Hardware Address of your computer and enable FlowJo to run only on that computer. The major disadvantage of the serial number license option is that you cannot transfer the license regularly between several computers. Serial numbers are issued to expire yearly (and are automatically renewed-at no charge), so that you have the flexibility to assign your user license to a different computer

A Dongle is a small electronic device that is attached to your computer. When it is attached, FlowJo will be able to run on that computer. This is the most flexible license option as you can easily move a dongle from computer to computer. However, if you lose the dongle, you will have to purchase a new one (at full price).
NOTE: FlowJo Version 4 uses a different USB dongle than Version 3 (instructions for dongle swap are included when you purchase an upgrade to v4). ADB dongles do not work with v4.
