| Inconsistent FCS Information
In reading this file, FlowJo has found that some
of the information in the FCS header is inconsistent. This
information tells FlowJo the exact format of the data, such as the
number of channels in each parameter, the range of values for each
parameter, etc. The program that created this FCS file wrote
a header that was inconsistent.
This means that FlowJo may not be able to properly
interpret the data. Usually, FlowJo can correct the inconsistencies
and read the data appropriately. If your data looks strange,
however, then FlowJo could not interpret it.
You should let the distributor of your data-file
creation software know that the FCS header information is incorrect.
In addition, if you send the FlowJo administrators an E-mail and
attach the data file, we will try to incorporate the ability to
correct for the errors in future versions of FlowJo. For more
information on contacting the FlowJo administrators, click
