When you click on the Create Gates button, FlowJo will create gates for the G1, S and G2 phases. These are the only gates that will be created based on the model's inherent restrictions. These gates will appear in the Workspace and can be opened in graph windows or added to the layout editor, as can the Cell Cycle node itself.
After creating gates, the Show Overlay button will become active. When you click Show Overlay, an overlay of the gated populations will open in the Layout Editor.
