Derived Parameter Types |
||
It is important to note that while the new parameters are not added to the original data file, they can become a part of a new data file if you choose to Export/Concatenate your file(s). This will eliminate the need to recreate the parameter(s) when using the data in a different workspace. Zoom: Use Scaling to restrict the range of your plots to identify minor fluctuations in your histogram plots. Select a Reference parameter and then enter Min And Max values for the range. By pressing Preview, your monovariate plot can be previewed. Ratio: Sselect a Reference parameter, insert division as the Function, then select a second Reference parameter. Add Gain or Offset: Adjust your data's display arithmetically. Choose yhe Reference parameter, and then choose to multiply or add each value by any number to move the data pointsr towards or away from 0. Lin/Log Conversion: Change scale by selecting Linear or Log from the Scale drop-down menu in the lower left of the dialog. If a Time parameter was not included in the original file, FlowJo will provide a simulated time parameter. Choose to Show Event Count from the Display menu in FlowJo's Graph window. A colored bar will appear in the Workspace when a derived parameter has been created. |
