Batch processes are available to save you time by allowing you to design prototype sample and then tell FlowJo to apply that prototype to groups or all samples.
In the case of a simple batch layout, each tile of the batch corresponds to one sample in a group. The batch report is made by taking each sample, applying the named gates and statistics to that sample, plotting the graphics in the format defined by the layout editor, and adding that frame to the report. This is useful in cases where the same information is desired for each tube.
-
Design/apply gating scheme and statistics to a prototype sample in the workspace.
-
Drag those gates/statistics onto all samples (batched gating).
-
Drag the prototype's plot(s) into the Layout Editor.
-
Customize plot(s) as desired (add anotation, change color, font, add additional plots from the same sample, etc.)
-
Adjust page size as desired to fit the tile. This is much easier and faster than resizing graphs. For tips on page breaks and sizing, go here.
-
Click on the Batch icon in the Layout Editor to bring up the Batch Report Dialogue window.
-
Choose an Output option (Print, PowerPoint, PDF, etc.)
-
Set your geometry (e.g. 3 Rows, Across as shown at right)
- Click create.
