Batching Statistics and Iterating in the Table Editor

GET WINDOWS VERSION GET MAC VERSION

FlowJo's Table Editor takes advantage of batching repetitive tasks in the same manner as batched gates and layouts.

Whenever you wish to batch statistics for a set of samples, the statistics must first be added to the population in the workspace. Next, Open the Table Editor and drag the statistic node(s) in via drag-and-drop. Once you have edited the Table's column information to your liking, press the table generation button.

Example One: The Simple Batch

In the case of a simple batch, from the Table Generation Dialog (below): (1) Select the group for which you wish to generate statistics. This will default on the group currently selected in the Workspace
(2) Leave Iterate by Panel selected
(3) Choose an output destination
(4) Click the Generate Table button.

In our first example, FlowJo generated statistics for all of the samples in the workspace.

Example Two: The Iterated Batch

Many times you will want to generate statistics for a select group of samples or subpopulations, based on cell type, date, patient ID, tube, or any number of other keywords or identifiers. Just like in the simple batch, you'll want to add the prototype statistics to the table editor. In this example, we want FlowJo to show us only statistics from the cell types we designated at the time of acqusition. So, when generating the table, we choose to Iterate by Keyword, selecting our $cells keyword.
