Install FlowJo on your PC from the web by going to Downloads page for Windows. The top link in the column is the latest version. Single Click the version to open a dialog window. Choose Run to run the FlowJo installer, or choose Save to save the 60MB FlowJo installer file on your local drive. (Saving the installer file is preferable if you have to install flowjo on many computers. It allows one to install FlowJo from your local drive instead of installing from the Internet)
You will see the progress bar above. This step may take several seconds, or even a few minutes, depending on your computer. Eventually you'll see the introduction screen, click next:
Where would you like to install FlowJo? We recommend the default path C:\Program Files\FlowJo :
The FlowJo installer allows you to place a shortcut for FlowJo into any place on your computer you like:
Pre-Installation summary screen shows the choices you made so far. You can always click Previous button and change them. Otherwise, click Install: version 7 is a Java app so the installer will install the Java Runtime Environment and the FlowJo related files.
This progress screen will appear. This step may take a while:
Eventually you'll get the Install Complete screen. Now you can click Done.
The next thing that will happen is dongle driver installation. If you are not using a dongle (ex. Site License, USB ThumbDrive, Serial Number licenses..) then you can cancel the process from the next screen:
