The Legend |
||
|
A legend will be generated whenever plots are overlayed. To add a legend to a single plot, right click on the plot and select Show Legend, or select Show Legend from the Annotation panel of the Graph Definition window. To remove a legend, click on it to select it and press Delete or unselect it from the Graph Definition window.
You can change the front/back Ordering of your plots by clicking on a sample line in the Legend and dragging it up or down in the legend order.
You can change the Color of the dot plot or histogram by left-clicking on a sample's color box in the legend. You will presented with a color palate from which you can choose your color of choice.
To edit the line characteristics of a histogram, right-click on the color box to see a popup menu for line weight and style, as well as whether the histogram should be filled, tinted or plain.
The Legend and Batching For control/test sample comparison during a batch analysis, it is often useful to lock a control sample so that it is displayed with successive iterations of test samples. Lock the control by right clicking on sample in the legend and selecting Set Control On (you will see the text for the control become italicized, shown at right).
