File Menu
Close...closes the Layout Editor. All work done prior to closing will be automatically saved with the Workspace.
Save Image As...brings up a Save dialog, prompting you to name and save the layout as an image file.
Export To App...brings up a Save dialog, prompting you to name and save the layout as an image file.
Insert Picture...brings up an Open dialog, prompting you to find an image file to insert into your layout (as a background image, for example).
Print...brings up the Print dialog, for more on printing, click here.
Scale To Page will take all content present in the currently selected layout and fit it onto a single page.
Scale To Width will scale the page break lines to match the width of the content added to the layout.
Scale To Height will scale the page break lines to match the height of the content added to the layout.
Avoid Page Breaks will spread out the tiles to minimize the number of graphs crossing a page boundary, without changing the size of the frames.
Edit Menu
Undo
Cut will remove the selection from the layout an place it on your operating system clipboard for pasting to another layout or another program.
Copy will copy selected items to your operating system clipboard for pasting into another layout or program.
Paste will paste items cut or copied from another location into the currently viewed layout.
Select All will select all objects in a layout for copy/cut or moving/aligning/spacing.
Invert Selection will change focus of selection from the objects currently selected to the other objects not selected in the workspace.

Save State to Preferences...
Layout Menu
Add Layout will open a new layout (this can also be achieved by clicking on the + button in the Layout Editor).
Duplicate Layout will make a copy of the layout being currently viewed (this can also be achieved by clicking on the = button in the Layout Editor).
Delete Layout will delete the layout being currently viewed (this can also be achieved by clicking on the - button in the Layout Editor).
Edit Header/Footer will open the Header/Footer dialog for adding/editing the header or footer of your layout. For details, click here.
Make Batch will (based on Simpler UI being turned on or off) generate a batch or bring up the batch dialog. For more on Batching, click here.
Include in Automatic Batches
Simpler UI will bypass the batch dialog for table creation and automatically generate a FlowJo layout when you hit the Batch... button.
Object Menu
Properties... will bring up the Properties dialog (Graph Definition window, Text Properties, Legend Properties, etc.) for a currently selected object.
Open Original Graph will open a population in a graph window for easy adjustment of gate(s) and other plot attributes.
Group will take all selected objects and "link" them together to form one object (i.e. one image).
Ungroup will take all previously grouped objects and "unlink" them, returning them to individual objects.
Duplicate will duplicate whatever objects are currently selected.
Send To Back for objects that overlap or are layered, you can send a selected object to theback in the layer/overlap scheme.
Bring To Front for objects that overlap or are layered, you can send a selected object to the front in the layer/overlap scheme.
Send Backward for objects that overlap or are layered, you can send a selected object backward (one layer at a time) in the layer/overlap scheme.
Bring Forward for objects that overlap or are layered, you can send a selected object forward (one layer at a time) in the layer/overlap scheme.
View Menu
View Workspace will shift focus to the Workspace and put it to the front of all open windows.
Zoom In will zoom layout view to enlarge view.
Zoom Out will zoom layout view to reduce view.
Fit In Window will fit as many objects into view as allowed by page/window size.
Show At 100% will zoom in or out in order to show layout at 100% size.
Use Placeholders will temporarily divorce the plots in any a layout from the data associated and leave only a placeholder. This is an efficient way to produce your layouts without bogging down processing power. Once unchecked, placeholders will disappear to be replaced by actual data, plots, etc.
Show Grid will place a grid in the background of the layout to help in placing/aligning objects placed on the canvas.
Show Page Breaks will provide a dashed line outline of the page breaks to use in organizing your layout
Align Menu

Tops will align all selected items to the top edge of the uppermost object selected.
Bottom will align all selected items to the bottom edge of the bottommost object selected.
Vertical Centers will find a vertical midpoint between all selected objects and align all selected objects to that point.
Vertical Spacing will vertically space all selected objects equally.
Vertical Spread will vertically spread all selected objects equally.
Lefts will align all selected items to the left edge of the leftmost object selected.
Rights will align all selected items to the right edge of the rightmost object selected.
Horizontal Centers will find a horizontal midpoint between all selected objects and align all selected objects to that point.
Horizontal Spacing will horizontally space all selected objects equally.
Horizontal Spread will horizontally spread all selected objects equally.
Align To Grid once the Show Grid option has been turned on, this will align all selected objects to the nearest grid intersection point for each selected object.
