There are four controllers for the 3D Viewer: Plot, Perspective, Display and Animation
Plot Disclosure
From the Plot disclosure arrow, set the parameters for X, Y and Z axes and assign a color for each axis. Events that are more positive for a given parameter will appear brighter for that parameter's specified color.
Setting Opacity: events that are more positive for a given parameter will render more opaque, less positive events will render more transparent. Setting Size: event size will scale based on how positive/negative events are for a specified parameter. More positive events will appear larger, less positive will appear smaller. To adjust the relative size, move the slider bar (left=smaller, right=larger). |
Perspective Disclosure
Perspective controls the viewing angles of the axes. Rotation about an axis is controlled by moving the slider bar for that axis right or left. Continuous rotation about an axis can be achieved by clicking on the button to the left of a slider (labeled with a *). Clicking the button again will stop rotation. Perspective can be reset at any time by clicking the Zoom in or out by sliding the Zoom slider bar right or left, respectively. |
Display Disclosure
Display allows you to change the text of any axis label, show/hide the cube, show/hide axes labels, and choose color for the Cube, Labels, and Background. A color palate will display when the boxes for Cube, Labels or Background boxes are clicked.

Animations Disclosure
From the Animations disclosure, you can set custom views and play them sequentially. The first view created is the starting point of the animation. Rotate the perspective of your plot to the view from which you want to start animation, then hit the "+" button to save that view. Rotate the perspective of your plot and hit the plus button for each successive view you wish to be included in the final animation. Views can be deleted by selecting a view and then clicking on the "-" button. Once all the desired views have been created, click the play button to animate the view series. Pauses and transitions can also be customized by inputting desired times (in seconds) in the "Pause per View" and "Transition" input fields. |
