Example: Layout Doesn't Fit

Print Preview is an option in FlowJo that allows users to see what the printed output would look like without actually printing.

If you hit Print Preview from the workspace, you will be shown a preview of what your workspace window would look like. This will include any collapsed/expanded analysis nodes and all the columns you have selected in the workspace.

[top]

In this example the column is cut off. To remedy, the column widths would have to be readjusted in the Workspace. Alternatively, the margins could be adjusted.

The buttons across the top bar will allow users to browse through all the pages:

the single arrow will advance one page, the double arrow goes to the last page.

You can also elarge/shrink your previews with the zooming buttons:

This button: brings up the Page Setup window:

[top]

This is where you can change your page options and margins. The printer button brings up printer specific options, for help with those, please consult your printing manual.

Example: Layout Doesn't Fit

If you have created a layout and hit Print Preview and it looks like this:

[top]

then the layout has to be resized. Clearly the right two graphs are cut off. Let's look at this layout:

[top]

the dashed lines indicate page size. Move your mouse over one of the corners of the dashed lines. The cursor will change, you can now resize the page:

[top]

This step resized the page to fit 6 graphs on one page and two on another (the graphs were moved to the right slightly).

Now the print preview window looks like so:

and the graphs fit much better. [top]
