For over 20 years, the team at FlowJo, has contributed to critical advances in medicine and life science through our flagship software FlowJo®, a powerful and user-friendly analysis program for single-cell flow cytometry analysis. Flow cytometry is a critical tool used to advance our diagnosis and understanding of disease states including cancer, HIV, and infectious diseases.

We are seeking a highly qualified Inside Sales Representative and Account Manager to support current customers and grow sales of our single-cell data analysis and data management products.  The Inside Sales/Account Manager connects with scientists to establish relationships, demo products, build interest, and close sales.

This role collaborates with field application scientists, technical support, marketing, order fulfillment, and commercial strategy to identify opportunities, teach scientists about our products, and foster long term customer relationships that lead to sales. The position requires the ability to quickly understand customer workflows and challenges and articulately demonstrate how our products can improve their research.

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and organized individual who is excited to help researchers combine single-cell interrogation technologies to enhance discovery and evolve science .  The ideal candidate has technical sales experience, a science background, and an intense desire to learn more about single-cell science and the software products we offer. Like the single cells which our software analyzes, we are looking for a brilliant, inspired, skilled individual to join our team.  Develop and maintain close business relationships with key decision makers and influences within client organizations
 Cold calling and telephone sales
 Email sales communication
 Account acquisition and retention
 Present powerful and articulate  product demos
 Manage over 300 current institutional license accounts and grow this market segment
 Quote, set up, invoice, and support institutional licenses
 Process orders and ship products as backup for our fulfillment team
 Collaborate with management to improve/adapt sales process
 Provide sales process feedback
 Submit customer feature requests into ticketing system

Required Skills/Experience
 A minimum of an associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred)
 A minimum of 1 year of technical sales experience
 Proficient with Microsoft Office products

Preferred Education, Skills,  and Experience
 CRM experience (e.g. Sales Force)
 Familiar with inbound marketing tools (e.g. Hubspot, Marketo)
 SaaS sales experience
 Polished professionalism with strong organizational, planning, communication, and problem solving skills
 Persuasive communicator able to use consultative selling skills to identify opportunities, overcome objections, build relationships and turn cold canvassing into sales.
 Understanding of Flow Cytometry and other single cell interrogation techniques
 Understanding of general scientific lab organization and processes
 Experience with SAP
 Demonstrate passion for company, software solutions, customers, and goals
 Motivation to expand personal and professional knowledge of product and sales skills
 Tenacious negotiator and closer; adept in conveying the benefits of products/services and generating customer interest.
